29th birthday Sidhu moose wala 1

Punjabi singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, known for his powerful music, would have turned 29 on Sunday. Sadly, he passed away last year, depriving his mother, Charan Kaur, and his fans of the chance to celebrate his big day. On his birth anniversary, Charan Kaur shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, recalling the day her son was born and the impact he had on the world.

Sidhu Moose Wala was tragically shot and killed in Punjab’s Jawaharke village on May 29 last year, just one day after his security cover was reduced by the Punjab government. Charan Kaur wrote a touching message in Punjabi, remembering the joy she felt when she held her son for the first time and realized the blessing he was. She mentioned how his small feet unknowingly traveled the world, even while he stayed rooted in his village, and how his perceptive eyes saw and revealed the truth. Sidhu Moose Wala’s art provided the people of Punjab with a fresh perspective on the world.

Charan Kaur acknowledged her son’s ability to make a difference in the world. Though he is no longer physically present, she feels his presence all around her. On this special day, she expressed how much she misses him

She mourned the loss of Sidhu Moose Wala’s pen, which symbolized his unique qualities and was once held by his small hands. She never imagined that those hands could change lives, nor did she know that the turban adorning his head would one day be without his playful hair. If she had known then that her son was destined to guide the world towards truth and righteousness, she would have faced the challenges and attacks for him. She would have written his story as her own.

“Though I can’t see you, I always feel your presence, my son. On your birthday, I pray for your happiness wherever you are. I miss you so much today,” she wrote.

Sidhu Moose Wala, also known as Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was fatally shot near a temple in Jhawahar Ke village and was pronounced dead at the Civil Hospital in Mansa. Despite his absence, Sidhu Moose Wala continues to live on in the hearts of his countless fans, friends, and family. Recently, rapper Divine paid tribute to him during the IPL closing ceremony, honoring his memory and encouraging others to do the same.

As we remember Sidhu Moose Wala on his first birth anniversary since his passing, we reflect on his incredible talent, his ability to connect with people through his music, and his unwavering dedication to truth. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will inspire future generations, and his spirit will forever resonate in the world of Punjabi music. Rest in peace, Sidhu Moose Wala.
