Plot
Freelance follows Mason Pettis (Cena), a former special forces officer now stuck in a dead-end desk job. When he is reluctantly ordered to provide private security for a washed-up journalist named Laura Miller (Bri) when she encounters a ruthless dictator (the Rabbi), Mason finds himself in over his head when a military coup occurs and then, the unlikely pair must team up in order to survive in the jungle, assassins and each other .
