However, he had to do with the telecom company Verizon, which was not available for the iPhone at that time. Because of this, he did not open the iPhone and now decided to go and sell it. He took this decision after meeting LCG Auctions, about which he was told that the first generation iPhone has been sold for up to $40,000. Its auction started at $2500 and now someone bought it for more than $50,000.
